The Essential Oils That Energize

Tired of feeling tired? Despite how the commercials and TV shows make it look, it is never easy to wake up in the morning. That is why you need to know about the essential oils that energize! While certain smells are great for making you feel relaxed and calm, other oils are wonderful for waking you up in the morning and giving you the energy you need to face the day.

Here are just a few of the essential oils to get you up in the morning.

Citrus Oil

The strong scent of lemon, orange, grapefruit, or lime is invigorating and gives you the pick me up you need in the morning. Due to their strong scents and natural cleaning ability, these scents are often used in cleaning products. Thanks to that association, the smell also makes you feel clean and refreshed. The scent of citrus is also known to calm your nerves and leaves you with a feeling of happiness and relaxation.

Rosemary Oil

The smell of rosemary oil instantly energizes you and brightens your mood. This oil is often used in cooking and can easily be grown at home. You can find cleaning products that use rosemary as its base scent as well. This essential oil is also known for its ability to battle mental exhaustion and fatigue. This makes it a great scent for giving you the energy you need in the morning.

Mint Oil

This is another herb that can easily be grown at home and can be used in cooking. The scent of mint is often found in many products such as toothpaste and face masks. Unlike many other oils, mint leaves you with a refreshing glow that you can feel long after its use. Though it isn't as energizing as the other oils on this list, it makes it easy to wake up and recover from headaches and fatigue. Mint oil is also great for uplifting your mood and can make you feel better on dreary days.

Basil Oil

Basil oil comes from a herb that can be grown at home with little trouble. The light smell can evoke thoughts of warm Summer nights which helps you feel cozy even during snowy winters. This scent energizes by allowing your mind and body to feel simulated and focused.

Whether you use these essential oils on their own or mix a few together, these oils are just what you need to feel energized on those tough mornings. There are several ways you can take advantage of these beneficial oils. You could mix 2 to 3 drops right into your bath water or light candles that contain one or more of these scents. You can even put a drop or two directly on your skin such as the wrist, forehead, or neck.
